After years on ice, it seems The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) has found his new favorite drink judging by the number of bottles he has put away.
While I was in Brooklyn during the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we see our favorite snowman having a pretty polite conversation with his new friend in a Japanese bar.
With a fair amount of shots and screen time, this has to be a way of product placement for Tiger Beer.
However, it gets deeper. After all, much of the action in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is rumored to take place in Madripoor as well. We previously reported that the fictional Southeast Asian country will make its debut in the series. By the way, Tiger Beer is a Singapore product that Madripoor is loosely based on.
Plus, after the bust that introduced the X-Men to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this is probably the best way to incorporate our favorite mutants into the mix.
While the scene is short overall, the camera gives the surroundings a lot of focus and even ends up with the perfect money shot:
It seems that Singapore is once again in the spotlight and we’re pretty sure the tourism board and Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore would be happy with the prominent location.
