Liverpool have made a deal with the Serie A center-back as their main summer transfer target, while Barcelona and Real Madrid have joined Manchester United in the search for a Sevilla defender, all in the Sunday papers.

KLOPP CONVERTS SERIES TO STAR

Liverpool They have reportedly made the Torino Bremer center-back their main summer transfer target.

Jurgen Klopp has been plagued by injuries in the defensive spine, with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip offside.

The defending champs brought in Ben Davies from Preston and Ozan Kabak on loan from Schalke in the January window.

The latter made his debut for the Reds and was embroiled in disastrous confusion with Alisson for Leicester’s second goal. in Liverpool’s 3-1 loss on Saturday.

For this, neither is considered a ready-made solution, unlike the Brazilian Bremer who has shone in Serie A.

The 23-year-old likes to play on the left side and is seen as a perfect partner for Van Dijk, when the Dutchman returns after his long knee problem.

The report in the Sunday Mirror states that Torino is aware of the growing interest in one of its top stars and expects several offers.

Bremer began his career with Desportivo Brasil before joining Atlético Mineiro after a loan period in Sao Paulo.

However, his rapid rise began after moving to Turin in 2018, with the player signing a five-year contract upon arrival.

Bremer fits Liverpool’s profile, given his age and the fact that they wouldn’t have to break the bank. It is currently valued at less than £ 10 million.
