About 280 of the 300 residential units offered at The Reef in King’s Dock were sold during the launch weekend of January 30-31, joint developers Mapletree Investments and Keppel Land said Sunday.
Prices ranged from S $ 2,000 per square foot (psf) to S $ 2,800 psf, with an average price of S $ 2,330 psf.
Neighboring luxury condo Corals in Keppel Bay averages S $ 2,067 psf, while Reflections in Keppel Bay averages S $ 1,590 psf.
Located on the Keppel Bay compound, The Reef at King’s Dock comprises 429 units in total.
Due to strong demand, another 100 units were added to the initial 200 units launched over the weekend, Mapletree and Keppel Land said in a statement.
They noted that the positive sales momentum over the weekend was due in large part to strong demand from a good mix of singles, young couples and families, who were drawn to the project’s location and key offerings.
More than 90 percent of home buyers at the weekend’s launch were Singaporean and permanent residents, with homeowners and investors.
There was a good mix of sales for the one- to three-bedroom units, with all the one-bedroom units fully sold. The remaining units comprise a mix of premium two- and three-bedroom units that will be released in later phases.
The development’s exhibition gallery in early January attracted more than 9,000 visitors over two weeks. The project is expected to be completed by 2025.
