A fight at a club on Boat Quay on December 13 saw about 15 people raining blows and throwing food at each other amid a chaotic scene of overturned tables and chairs.
A video of the dramatic fight posted on Thelocalsociety’s Facebook page has since garnered more than 183,000 views.
Several Stompers also learned of the incident, with one of the Stompers calling the fight a “nuisance.”

In the video, a man in a white shirt and denim jacket can be seen fighting while being held back by his opponent.
Two other black-clad men can also be seen throwing punches at each other, before quickly walking away to join another fight.
Then, a plate of white substance, which appears to be flour, is thrown into the air, while the screams continue in the background.
Another man in a denim shirt tosses what looks like a cupcake at his opponent’s head as the latter walks away.
A woman can also be seen trying to walk towards the fight, but is stopped by another woman in a black shirt, who asks her to “come out.”
Then the camera turns to the ground and the video cuts off abruptly.
According to the Chinese-language newspaper Lianhe Zaobao, a witness named Wu, who works at a restaurant on Boat Quay, said he saw a group of people running past the restaurant at the time the incident occurred.
He told Shin Min Daily News that he was busy working when he heard noise coming from outside the restaurant.
When he looked up, he saw a group of men and women running past the restaurant.
Wu added that when he left the restaurant to check on the commotion, he noticed the same group of people gathering on the side of the road and saw that an ambulance was parked on the left side of the restaurant.
He also told Shin Min Daily News that three policemen entered the club after the incident to ask customers about what happened.
Police said in a statement they were alerted to the fight at 12:50 a.m., where a group of eight people were allegedly attacked by a group at a club.
“The victims suffered minor injuries. One of the victims, a 40-year-old man, was taken to Singapore General Hospital,” police added.
“Through investigations and with the help of CCTV images, agents from the Central Police Division established the identities of the assailants, who consisted of five men and three women, and arrested them on December 14.”
According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed that the eight victims are unknown to the assailants and that they had allegedly assaulted the victims due to a dispute.
The crime of riot carries a prison sentence of up to seven years and lashing.
Police investigations are ongoing.
