Endorsed by Colonel Sanders himself, the KFConsole is here, finally solving a problem that literally no one cared about until now: how to keep your chicken warm while you play.
Created in partnership with PC hardware maker Cooler Master, the KFC console promises to shake up the console war like a bag full of 11 herbs and spices with its built-in chicken camera – a world first. It means the days of sneezing warm poultry or suffering from a slightly chilly patch of thigh are thankfully over. And it is about time.
The KFC console was first teased in June and caused more commotion on social media than a fox walking into a chicken coop. The demand, oddly enough, was high for a long-standing fast food chain console, and well … here it is.

The KFConsole is designed to keep the pipeline of freshly bought food while chipping enemies online, something the PS5 and Xbox Series X simply can’t do (and we wouldn’t advise trying either). The custom cooling system draws heat from the system around the outside of the chicken chamber, so the hardware stays properly cool and the chicken stays warm.
The Bargain-Bucket shaped machine is also capable of chewing on the latest games. While the specs are still firmly under wraps, the console promises to have a high-end Intel CPU inside, a hot-swappable ASUS mini-GPU, and a 1TB NVMe SSD from Seagate.
It means that the KFC console can run Crysis and even Cyberpunk 2077 (buggy and all), as well as I Love You Colonel Sanders! A good scrumptious dating simulator at stunning 4K, 240fps.
Finger clicking ok
The KFC console is a strange feat of human engineering, then, and exactly the kind of nonsense we need during this difficult year. It reminds us of how Microsoft brought the Xbox Series X refrigerator meme to life (and how we can’t help but want a mini-fridge version).
Honestly, the KFConsole wouldn’t look out of place alongside next-gen systems from Sony and Microsoft, although the faint smell of chicken would certainly turn heads.
Suspiciously, the console does not yet have a specific release date, price, or specs to share, although it does have a website. However, we are keeping our fingers crossed for the Colonel to deliver a consumer ready product in the near future as we are not sure if a heated chicken chamber would pass health and safety regulations.
While we’ll have to wait and see if KFConsole really hits the market, if you’re still looking for where to buy PS5 or where to buy Xbox Series X, we’re checking all the retailers for new stock updates to help you secure the elusive systems, already. that are still out of stock, with stock coming and going.
