All travelers must submit a pre-trip health and travel history statement prior to arriving here.

Those who are not Singapore citizens or permanent residents (PR) need entry approval from government agencies or certain travel passes to enter Singapore.

Depending on a person’s travel history, they will have to meet different requirements.

Different requirements apply for those entering Singapore via short travel lanes.

3. From the airport to SHN facilities

Some travelers from places like Macau may choose not to serve their SHN at dedicated facilities and choose to do so at their residential address.

They must meet criteria such as occupying the place of residence alone or only with household members with the same travel history.

Others will be assigned special SHN facilities by officers at the immigration checkpoint.

Transportation will be arranged to take you to these facilities directly from the airport.

Changi airport personnel who come into close contact with passengers don full personal protective equipment and are routinely tested for Covid-19.

Hotels used as SHN dedicated facilities must have strict protocols to separate SHN hotels from other guests.

This includes placing them on separate blocks, wings, or floors, as well as ensuring that the routes they use to get around are clearly separated from those of other guests.

People at SHN are unable to leave their rooms during their stay, and the rooms are fully disinfected and disinfected after they leave.

These people cannot access the common facilities of the hotels either.

During their SHN, travelers will need to take a Covid-19 swab test.

To avoid contact with other people, each has their own room and bathroom, and food is provided.

The Immigration and Control Points Authority will also carry out checks on travelers placed in SHN through home visits, calls or WhatsApp.

As of January 1, costs will no longer be waived for Singaporeans and PRs who last left the country before March 27 and will stay in exclusive SHN facilities.
