Jurgen Klopp believes that Jordan Henderson would be a worthy winner of the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award.
Henderson is one of six shortlisted people for the gong who led Liverpool to a first title in 30 years, at the same time that he was named Footballer of the Year and helped establish a Premier League coronavirus fund for NHS workers.

And Klopp has indicated that he will make sure to vote for Henderson before the winner is announced Sunday night.

“He is an exceptional person, an exceptional player. He did a great job in the summer not only for our players, but for players in general.
“For the England team, he is involved in almost everything. He’s a great guy and would be a worthy award winner.
“I don’t know exactly who the other people involved are, but he would be worthy.”
Henderson is expected to be Liverpool’s captain at the start of Saturday’s Premier League at Crystal Palace.
He is likely to be joined in midfield by Curtis Jones, who has impressed in the Reds’ last two games against Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur.
And Klopp had reiterated that the young man’s form makes it easy to forget he’s still a teenager.
