Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is urging fans at Anfield not to moan during matches.
Up to 2,000 home fans will be in attendance when the Reds take on Wolves on Sunday and fans will be able to return for the first time since the stadium’s lockout in March.
Klopp said: “I hope it’s great for all of us. As a player who played against 2000, they weren’t always in a good mood.
“After that hiatus, I think our fans will be in top shape. No matter how many there are, it is how great their influence is.
“I hope that if the first pass doesn’t get from player A to player B, they don’t think ‘OMG.’ We’re going to make the most of it.
“Everything has been more difficult without the fans. From a specific moment we did not think about it because we could not change it.
“We are not going to a bad pitch and we think about it, you have to deal with that. It is good for people. Congratulations to the 2,000 who can come.
“If it gives us a chance to show that we can deal with it and show in the future that we can get more, but that’s nothing to us.
“We have to deal with the circumstances. Soccer is more difficult without fans and not half as pleasant. But it’s still football. “
