A motorcyclist was in an accident with a pickup truck near the Whampoa Hawker Center on Saturday afternoon (November 28).
Stomper Others I found the scene of the accident at the entrance to the parking lot of the popular market around 3pm and sent photos to Stomp.
In the images, a man in a Foodpanda t-shirt can be seen lying on the road with his motorcycle helmet still on.
A motorcycle is seen with a GrabFood storage bag and a van parked near the man.
The accident had attracted several onlookers.
Andre recounted: “As I was walking towards the parking lot, I saw a group of people standing around the entrance. Then I noticed a food delivery passenger lying on the road.
“I think the white van had collided with the motorcyclist on his left as the van was pulling into the parking lot.
“There was no blood on the road or noticeable damage to any of the vehicles. The delivery driver appeared to be conscious when I saw him using his mobile phone while lying on the ground.
“Shortly after I left the parking lot, an ambulance arrived at the scene.”
Stomp understands that no injuries were reported.
