Call it silly luck or call it divine intervention – whatever it is, this biker is happy to have survived a close shave with flying pieces of metal.
In images shared by the Roads.SG Facebook page, an accident along the stretch of the Yishun Dam on Sunday (November 22) morning saw a driver lose control of a multipurpose vehicle (MPV) while turning. .
The driver ended up crashing through a median barrier and right in the opposite lane, where a motorcyclist had been traveling nearby.
Through some kind of cosmic coincidence, the motorcyclist narrowly escaped being hit by both the minivan and the debris that had rushed towards him. No one would have believed the story as well if it weren’t for another vehicle that recorded the entire incident through its rear camera.

To make things even more surreal, the rider simply continued his journey, as if not avoiding injury or death. Just another Sunday for him.
Netizens could not believe the images and the luck of the pilot that morning either.
Others noted that Yishun Avenue 1, the stretch of highway at Yishun Dam, is known to be an accident-prone area.
Multiple injuries and deaths from nearby traffic accidents have made headlines in recent years, including one that saw a 28-year-old nurse die in what has been described as a “traffic mishap.”
