SINGAPORE: All Singaporeans over the age of 18 will receive SingapoRediscovers coupons worth S $ 100, which can be used for stays, attraction tickets and tours to boost the local tourism industry.
Vouchers can be redeemed starting December 1 at five online booking partners, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) announced on Monday (November 23).

Here’s how and where you can redeem them:
Step 1: Have your SingPass account ready. Citizens must register for a SingPass account if they do not have one, or reset their password if they have forgotten it, before the coupon redemption begins on December 1.
If you need help with your SingPass account, the People’s Association will provide SingPass setup or password reset service at 53 community centers or clubs. This includes several temporary locations that will only be available from December 1 to June 30 of the next year.
Step 2: Explore the products available on the websites of authorized booking partners: Changi Travel Services (also known as Changi Recommends), Klook, Trip.com, GlobalTix and Traveloka. Eligible products are marked with the SingapoRediscovers coupon icon.
If you need help redeeming coupons online, you can go to 69 physical locations across the island. Most of them are located in community centers, select shopping centers and SingPost branches.
You must have a valid SingPass account before visiting these physical locations.
Step 3: Add the items you want to the shopping cart on the booking website.
Step 4: When you are ready to pay, click “Use SingapoRediscovers Coupons” on the checkout page. This will redirect you to go.gov.sg/srvbalance, where you will be asked to log in with your SingPass account.
Step 5: Login to your SingPass account and choose the number of SingapoRediscovers coupons you wish to redeem. Coupons will be delivered in S $ 10 denominations.
Coupons cannot be stacked or combined with someone else’s coupons to purchase the same product.
Step 6: Declare details of family members under 18 to receive S $ 10 child or youth ticket subsidies. You will need to provide your relative’s NRIC, birth certificate or FIN number and declare their relationship with you.
Singapore citizens can get the subsidies for up to six child or youth tickets. Subsidies will be automatically deducted from your payment amount.
If you are an adult Singaporean and have used up all your SingapoRediscovers coupons, you will no longer be able to redeem any subsidized tickets for children or young people. To purchase tickets for subsidized children or youth, you must have at least S $ 10 in the balance of your SingapoRediscovers vouchers.
Step 7: Copy the generated SingapoRediscovers coupon code and paste it on the checkout page.
Step 8: Complete the payment process and proceed to pay the outstanding amount, if applicable. The payment process must be completed in 10 minutes.

To avoid fraud, the transfer or resale of SingapoRediscovers vouchers is not allowed. STB will work with third-party platforms to monitor any resale of the coupons, and cases can be referred to the police for investigation.
The redemption of SingapoRediscovers coupons on behalf of others is also not permitted. They must be redeemed before June 30, 2021 and the products purchased with the coupons must be used before the same date.
The vouchers are also not refundable. You can request a date or product change, depending on the terms and conditions of the individual authorized booking partners.
