Fancy a home stay sleeping under the stars and waking up to a view of the tallest indoor waterfall in the world?

You can now book one at Changi Festive Village, Changi Airport’s greatest lifestyle experience, which was unveiled yesterday with the support of the Singapore Tourism Board. It runs until January 3.

Families can be accommodated in glamping tents at Cloud9 Piazza and Shiseido Forest Valley at Jewel Changi Airport, also home to the HSBC Rain Vortex. During the day, the tents can be used to host picnics.

Glamping rates start at $ 320 per night and picnic rates are $ 160 for a three-hour window.

At Changi Experience Studio, Discovery Adventure Camps showcase behind-the-scenes airport experiences and festive craft workshops. In Terminal 3, the Jurassic era takes center stage, with realistic dinosaur displays.

For those who miss winter retreat vacations during this time of year, the terminal has also built Singapore’s largest two-story snow amusement house.

Starting next Thursday, fans will be able to participate in night kart races in Terminal 4.

Jayson Goh, managing director of airport operations management at Changi Airport Group, said the end of the year is traditionally a special time, with a festive cheer greeting travelers and visitors.

“With the Government’s emphasis on promoting domestic tourism this holiday season, we hope to also show our support for travel, hospitality and retail partners who are negatively affected by Covid-19,” he added.

“The range of activities is designed to provide entertainment for the whole family, from fun dinosaur-themed activities for the little ones, to exciting go-kart racing and glamping experiences for the young and young at heart. Also taking advantage of the occasion to experiment with new tourism products that may be relevant to tourists arriving when travel is recovered. “
