It was a bedtime scene that didn’t quite work out for Taiwanese actress Jessie Chang – ironic considering she was getting intimate with handsome local actor Desmond Tan in the latest episode of the new Taiwanese idol drama Falling Into You.
But the problem wasn’t chemistry with his handsome reel partner (as is often the case). For one thing, the bed they were in was too small.
“We almost fell out of bed in the middle of the scene,” said the 44-year-old actress.
So the room was uncomfortably hot too.
According to a media report, Jessie explained that she felt “very hot” on set even though a crew member had already set the air conditioning to the lowest setting.
Not that the air conditioning unit wasn’t working; the real reason was actually a bit more fun.
“It wasn’t until the director cleared the set that we realized it was full of people waiting to catch a glimpse of the bed scene,” he added.
The drama, which also stars Jiro Wang and Puff Kuo, is available to watch on meWATCH.
