Liverpool rejected an approach from the Wolves to sign defender Neco Williams earlier this summer, according to a report.
The times They say the Molineux club was looking for the Welsh international when they let Matt Doherty move to Tottenham.
Williams turned heads with his attacking displays from the right back at the end of last season. And the Wolves had identified him as a player who would be a good fit in their wing system.
However, Williams signed a five-year contract with the Reds and nothing materialized.
