Despite being a starter on the bench for Barcelona’s game against Real Betis, Lionel Messi managed to steal the show at Camp Nou.

Messi was rested by manager Ronald Koeman, but with the game tied at 1-1, the club’s all-time record scorer entered the fray after halftime and quickly provided roughly the millionth reminder of his genius.

Attacking a Jordi Alba center, Messi’s step took both the Betis goalkeeper and the closest defender out of the game. Antoine Greizmann had the easy task of scoring an open goal.

Messi then scored two goals before Pedri made it 5-2 at Barcelona in the final stages.
