South Korean comedian Park Ji-sun, 35, and her mother were found dead at their home in Seoul’s Mapo-gu district this afternoon (November 2).
According to news reports, Ji-sun’s father called the police when he was unable to reach them both by phone. When he entered the house with the police, the couple was reportedly already dead.
Apparently, Ji-sun was under treatment for an unspecified health problem and her mother was staying with her. He made his debut in 2007 as a comedian and worked on various television variety shows.
Police are investigating and the exact cause of death is unknown. According to some reports, the police suspect that it is a suicide case.
