Stomper Min He was on his bike when he nearly collided with a BMW car that ran a red light at the junction of Still Road and Koon Seng Road.

Min shared video footage of the near miss that occurred on Monday (October 26) at 10.39 p.m.

In the video, the bike can be seen driving away after the traffic lights turned green.

A BMW car then appears in the opposite direction to turn right and almost collides with the bicycle.

“I was waiting for the lights to turn green and I turned off a few seconds after they turned green,” Min shared.

“Suddenly, the BMW car went ahead of the red light to turn right and almost knocked me down.

“I shouldn’t have done that! Fortunately, nothing happened because I stopped my bike in time, but I can’t imagine what would have happened if I hadn’t.”

“I’m not sure what the rush is to turn right, especially since the light in your direction had been red for a while.

“I was looking at him and he had this appearance that this is his father’s way.

“Then he left without a feeling of guilt and without apologizing to me!”

Min added that he decided to share the images from the video because he wanted to raise more awareness about road safety.
