A couple was caught behaving inappropriately in a movie theater at Shaw Theaters Lido and CCTV footage of the incident was sent to Stomp.
The Stomp M contributor, who identified herself as a friend of a Shaw Theaters employee, said the incident occurred on October 15, around 8:15 p.m.
M said: “My friend saw this couple on CCTV during a movie. The woman was straddling her partner and moving up and down.
“I hate it when people do this in public.”
In a 17-second video that M shared with Stomp, a man can be seen sitting with a woman on his lap. The woman is seen moving her hips.
No other bystanders are seen sitting around the couple.
[[nid:470292]]In response to a question from Stomp, a Shaw Theaters spokesperson said: “Once he learned of the incident, the manager came out into the hall and warned the couple to stop behaving inappropriately (they were joking and were fully clothed). . “
According to the spokesperson, the couple complied and left without further incident at the end of the film’s screening.
He added: “Shaw Theaters does not condone such behavior and requests that our customers respect our cinemas for their intended purpose of movie appreciation and entertainment.
“Shaw Theaters has taken disciplinary action against the staff who made and released the unauthorized recording.”
Stomp will not upload the video due to its inappropriate nature.
