Bird Game: A wild peacock attacks an innocent vehicle in a Singapore car park after seeing its own reflection, Digital News

An innocent Hyundai sedan was raped by a beautiful feathered bird thug simply for being too clean and shiny.

The unfortunate car owner would now have the strange task of telling a mechanic that the numerous scratches on the vehicle’s body were due to a wild and aggressive peacock who knew no better.

The incident was captured on camera and shared on Motorist Singapore’s Facebook page last Saturday (October 17), although it is unclear where exactly it happened. There aren’t many places in Singapore that are known for roaming wild peacocks, so the images were likely taken somewhere in Sentosa where a population of peacocks is part of the wildlife.

In any case, the reflective paint on the car must have given the peacock the impression that it was another alpha peacock, and the bird ended up attacking the reflection. The result? A very scratched body that would cost a lot of money to fix.

Here are the consequences of the bird attack.

While the car owner may not find the humor in the episode, netizens can’t help but laugh at the whole thing.

Peacocks attacking cars is more common than you think. As early as 2009, people have faced fiercely territorial peacocks leaving scratches on their vehicles parked in various open-air car parks in Sentosa.

The same phenomenon occurs abroad as well. Wild peacocks have been ruffling feathers in British Columbia, Canada, attacking luxury cars after seeing their own reflections.
