SINGAPORE – Two Orchard Road shopping centers and a Don Don Donki outlet were among the additions made by the Ministry of Health (MINSA) on Saturday (October 10) to a list of places visited by community cases while they were infectious. .

The Takashimaya department store in Ngee Ann City and the Joeun lounge in Far East Plaza were visited on September 29 from 6:05 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on October 4 from 2.55 to 4 p.m., respectively.

The Don Don Donki establishment at Square 2 @ Novena was visited on October 1 from 5:45 PM to 6:25 PM, while the Kushikatsu Tanaka restaurant at Merchant Court in River Valley was visited on September 28 from 6:30 PM to 9 PM: 30.

Those who had been identified as close contacts of confirmed cases have already been notified, the Health Ministry said.

As a precautionary measure, visitors who have been to these places during specified times should monitor their health closely for 14 days from the date of their visit, he added.

They should see a doctor if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection, such as cough, sore throat, and runny nose, as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.

Individuals can access the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service through the TraceTogether app, SingPass Mobile or at wereyouthere.safeentry.gov.sg to check if they were at these locations during the specified times, based on their own SafeEntry records.

“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded. The National Environmental Agency will involve the administration of the affected facilities to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection, ”the ministry added.

The list of public places visited excludes residence, workplaces, sanitary facilities and public transport, and will be updated every 14 days or an incubation period, and as epidemiological investigations progress.
