THE following companies saw new developments that may affect their securities trading on Monday:
Frasers Property: Its Australian division won an offer to join the Queensland government’s build-to-rent pilot, the motherboard-listed property developer said on Saturday. Shares of Frasers Property ended unchanged at Singapore $ 1.17 on Friday.
HC surgery specialists: The Catalan firm’s surgeon, Julian Ong, won his appeal last Friday for his defamation lawsuit against Serene Tiong. The court also granted Dr. Ong a court order against Ms. Tiong, preventing her from posting or causing defamatory words to be published against him, HC Surgical announced Sunday night.
It was also said that Ms Tiong, who is a shareholder in the company, lacked “good faith” when she requested that HC Surgical sue its CEO for the purchase of an additional stake in Dr. Ong’s clinic. Shares of HC Surgical fell S $ 0.01 or 3.2 percent to close at S $ 0.30 on Friday.

AsiaPhos, which is listed on Catalist, closed 0.1 Singapore cent or 5 percent higher at 2.1 cents on Friday after the announcement.
Heeton Holdings: While the motherboard-listed real estate group’s overseas hospitality business has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic, it is not shying away from potential acquisitions, Chief Operating Officer Ivan Hoh said. The Business Times. Heeton shares closed unchanged at S $ 0.19 on Friday.
OKH Global, IReit Global, UnUsUaL Limited: Over the weekend, several firms listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange notified shareholders of the investigations involving their independent directors who are also current or former directors of the troubled Eagle Hospitality Trust (EHT).
Mainboard-listed construction and property group OKH Global said its current non-executive independent director Ng Kheng Choo, who joined EHT’s board on October 8, 2019 and resigned on March 16, 2020, notified it about the investigation.
IReit Global and UnUsUaL made separate announcements regarding Kelvin Tan Wee Peng, who is an independent director on their boards, as well as a current independent non-executive director of EHT.
OKH Global shares were last traded on September 30 and closed unchanged at 1.5 Singapore cents. Units of IReit Global closed down 1.5 Singapore cents or 2.4 percent at 60.5 cents and UnUsUaL shares closed unchanged at 13.6 Singapore cents on Friday.
