Three Liverpool players could still sign from the EFL after the October 5 deadline

This transfer window has been successful for Liverpool.

But the additions of Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota changed things significantly, and the Reds are now looking to have multiple options in all areas of the field.

It wouldn’t be entirely surprising, then, if Klopp is now happy with what he has, especially given that the transfer window for top-flight clubs in Europe is scheduled to close on Monday, October 5.

However, after consultation with the EFL, and because FIFA allows a summer transfer window of up to 12 weeks, an additional national window in England will be extended from October 5 to 5 pm on October 16.

Klopp may therefore be tempted to delve into the secondary market, with some in-demand players still potentially available in the EFL.

The Wales international has been inevitably linked to various Premier League clubs after Bournemouth’s relegation last season.

He is 23 years old and has done more than enough in previous seasons to suggest that he is too good for the second division.

Sky Bet has Manchester United, Sheffield United and Leicester ahead of Liverpool in the race to sign Brooks, although that could change quickly.

The question for the Reds is where the Bournemouth man would fit on the team. He can play as a more central attacking midfielder, or on the right of a forward three, but Liverpool are well supplied in that area of ​​the field.
