Raymond Lam is now a proud father of one.
The Hong Kong actor took to Weibo on September 26 to announce the birth of his daughter. He also shared photos from a pregnancy shoot with his wife Carina Zhang where they dressed as characters from the Chinese literary classic Journey to the West, along with another of their baby’s fist with their hands.
Raymond, 40, wrote: “The first time I felt the continuation of life was the first time I held you and felt your warmth and your breath. Lovely baby, you have given me the motivation to keep fighting.”
“Dear wife, thank you for your difficulties. I am not good with words, but I will remember how good you are. I will use my life to protect and cherish this happiness.”
As for Carina, she also celebrated the news on Weibo, where she posted photos from a more typical pregnancy shoot.
She said: “When I first saw you, I kissed you on the forehead and hugged you. The difficulty of carrying you for 10 months and the pain of childbirth turned to nothing for me.
“Dear baby, you have given my life a new meaning. This beautiful life becomes sweeter with your arrival. I will always be thinking of you and your dad.”
The couple got married sometime last year when Raymond and his manager reportedly confirmed the wedding rumors in October when Raymond and Carina’s marriage request came up. The actor later went public about his marriage on Weibo when he called Carina his wife on New Year’s Eve.
