Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their three-word reactions to the 1-1 draw against Newcastle United.
José Mourinho’s team had several opportunities to put the game beyond the magpies, but were unable to add to the scoreboard in part due to an inspired performance by Karl Darlow in goal.
Lucas Moura scored the first goal of the game in the 25th minute when he tapped on the back post after a cut in the six-yard box from Harry Kane.
In injury time, the VAR ruled that Eric Dier had handled the ball in the penalty area after he jumped for the ball and his outstretched arm made contact with the ball from an Andy Carroll header.
Newcastle did not register a shot on goal until the intervention of the VAR.
Magpies forward Callum Wilson stepped up and buried the ball past Hugo Lloris, who saw José Mourinho walk down the touchline in disgust while the match still continued.
