Police investigations are ongoing.

Police are also investigating the 33 individuals for their alleged failure to comply with safe distancing measures under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) 2020 Regulation.

They added: “The police will continue to suppress criminal activities. Those found engaging in illicit activities will be treated severely in accordance with the law.”

According to Shin Min Daily News, a condo unit in Burlington Square was raided and the execution operation lasted until 4 a.m.

A source told reporters: “The unit has two bedrooms and a living room, but there were many people in the house, both men and women, as well as young and old.”

The source said a woman in her 40s lived in the apartment, adding: “There are often a lot of people moving in and out of the unit since she moved in two months ago.

“There is always a lot of noise coming from the unit, which starts in the afternoon and lasts until the wee hours of the morning. This happens four to five days a week and has been going on for at least three weeks. I think some neighbors couldn’t and called the police. “

During the police operation, one of the detained women was heard muttering that it was “eight lives of bad luck.”
