SINGAPORE – Premiums for entitlement certificates (COE) ended mixed in the last tender on Wednesday (September 23), remaining among their highest levels this year.

The COE price for cars up to 1,600cc and 130bhp closed at $ 38,504, up from $ 37,766 two weeks ago. The COE premium for cars over 1,600 cc or 130 bhp ended at $ 40,989, down from $ 41,510.

The open COE premium, which can be used for any type of vehicle except motorcycles, but ends primarily for larger cars, closed at $ 41,001, down from $ 40,790.

The COE price of commercial vehicles ended at $ 28,589, down from $ 26,644. The motorcycle premium ended at $ 7,331, down from $ 7,399.

New car launches and aggressive dealer promotions to clear inventory accumulated during the suspension of COE’s auctions from April to June kept premiums up. A lower offer from COE continued to put pressure on the tender.
