Being Singaporeans, we take the opportunity to collect whatever is free. So when the Temasek Foundation distributed a free pair of skins in June, we couldn’t be happier.
But since it is recommended to use it up to 30 wash times, if you have used it daily, there is a high probability that it has exhausted its useful life. And if that’s you or you missed the compilation window last time, here’s some good news!
A poster shared on the Singapore Atrium Facebook page yesterday (September 8) indicated that the Temasek Foundation is organizing another round of distribution of free reusable masks from September 21 to October 4.
Anyone with a government-issued ID that has a barcode is eligible to collect two free masks from 10am onwards during the stipulated period.
Currently, the information has not yet been published on the official site, stayprepared.sg/masks, but by dialing the Stay Prepared hotline on the poster, the recording on the other end mentions that the collection of the masks will start from September 21 as indicated on the poster.
Like the masks delivered in June, the white MaskSafe DET30 ™ masks will be distributed in the next collection. Like last time, the masks are reusable, antimicrobial and washable up to 30 times. You can find details on how to care for your mask here.
And if you have little ones who need masks, this time there is the option to collect masks for children.
For those who feel that two masks are not enough, they can also pre-order online. And you’ll have more color options: peach, denim and black in adult and child sizes. Pre-order starts at 8 a.m. M. From September 13 and ends on October 2.
For more information on the collection, visit the website at a later date.
