SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 as of noon on Monday (September 7), including a community infection, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in its preliminary update.
This brings the national total to 57,044.
The only community case is a work pass holder, the ministry said.
There are also three imported cases, which had been assigned a stay-at-home notice upon arrival in Singapore.
More updates will be given Monday night, the ministry added.

On Sunday, new groups of COVID-19 were identified in three dormitories of migrant workers that were previously cleaned of the coronavirus, with a community case linked to one of the groups.
The three new groups were: Cassia @ Penjuru at 15 Penjuru Walk, CDPL Tuas Dormitory at 6 Tuas South Street 15, and Kranji Lodge I at 12 Kranji Road.
The community’s case, a 34-year-old Indian citizen, was linked to CDPL Tuas’ new dormitory group.
It was detected as part of the routine tests of the Ministry of Health of workers in the construction, marine and processes that live outside the bedrooms.
