Havertz talks ‘dream come true’ as Chelsea completes transfer

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.

It’s been a busy transfer window for the Blues, who have spent a lot on Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell, while also adding Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr on free transfers.

Havertz he was the next player they were chasing, and they announced Friday night that they had outgrown the deal.

The German midfielder has signed a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge. Previous reports revealed that it would not be for a record club fee, although the price exceeds 70 million pounds sterling.
