Cat Saving Cop Who Made Women Swoon Now Impresses Men By Doing 105 Pushups In One Minute For IPPT, Digital News

It’s been a hot minute since Staff Sergeant (SSG) Benjamin Cheah made headlines, so here’s a refresher: He made women online thirsty for him in 2015 after he and a fellow police officer rescued to a cat that was trapped in a six-tall pine tree.

When a photo of the cat and its rescuers was posted on the Singapore Police Force Facebook page, the comment section erupted with hundreds of comments about hasty glances from police officers. Last time we checked, that post has over 10,000 likes on Facebook.

This time, however, it was not the female population that was enraged by a Facebook post with SSG Cheah. In reality, it was the opposite: it was the men who felt weak in their arms and knees after finding out that the police officer is fit.

On Monday (August 24), SSG Cheah shared on Facebook the results of his latest Individual Physical Competence Test (IPPT), where he was awarded the gold category based on his performance. Business as usual, he wrote.

And what a performance it was. In addition to completing the 1.5 mile run in under 12 minutes and doing 61 sit-ups in one minute, SSG Cheah also mentioned that he did 105 push-ups in one minute.

Since static exercises are scored through a machine that uses motion sensors, it would appear that you exceeded the maximum number of push-ups that can be recorded, so 99 on your IPPT slides. To make it even more impressive, the IPPT electronic scoring system is known to be a strict monitor that does not count a push-up repetition if one’s form is not correct.

NS colleagues familiar with IPPT were simply in awe of the policeman’s feat and expressed their thoughts in his Facebook post, which has since garnered hundreds of shares and comments.
