SINGAPORE – Stores in Paragon, The Heeren and Ngee Ann City were added by the Ministry of Health (MINSA) on Saturday (Aug 29) to a list of public places visited by community cases of COVID-19 while they were infectious.

These include Muji, Toys “R” Us and iStudio at Paragon, Robinsons at The Heeren and Papilla Haircare and Best Denki at Ngee Ann City.

Baby Expo Warehouse sales at 1 Jalan Wangi and Far East Plaza were also added to the list.

As a precautionary measure, visitors who have been to these places during specified times should monitor their health closely for 14 days from the date of their visit, the Health Ministry said.

They should see a doctor if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection, such as cough, sore throat, and runny nose, as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their history of exposure.

“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded. The National Environmental Agency will involve the administration of the affected facilities to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection, ”the ministry added.

The list of public places visited excludes residence, workplaces, healthcare facilities, and public transportation, and will be updated every 14 days or an incubation period, and as epidemiological investigations progress.
