Unai Emery’s ex-girlfriend Sacha Wright claims the Spaniard blamed her for her firing at Arsenal, and says he saw her as a “white witch.”
Emery was fired from Arsenal in November, just 18 months after replacing Arsene Wenger, who spent a 22-year term in charge of the club.
The Spanish, who came to North London after having been successful in both Seville and PSG, seemed to have difficulties with the English language and was, Reportedly outsmarted by Arsenal players.

“She told me she was a white witch since it had brought her such bad luck!”
Wright and Emery had initially parted ways in September, before she took him in December and continued: “He said” it was the day we broke up that we started to lose. “
“He said he was so stressed out that his mind was not in the right place after we broke up.
“I flew over to meet him in San Sebastian just before New Year’s Eve and that’s when he blamed me for the loss of Arsenal.
“I trusted Unai and I really believed that one day we would get married and have children together.
“I thought he was a gentleman and a true family man. But in the end I realized that I was not ready for a serious relationship. “
It’s probably not surprising to hear Emery’s ex-girlfriend admit that the former Arsenal boss was completely obsessed with soccer and would watch the games on his laptop until he fell asleep and again the moment he woke up.
“We met after most of the games and sometimes during the week as well,” he added. “If the team hadn’t been playing well, he would say, ‘I’m having a difficult time. It’s very stressful right now. “
“I was always watching soccer and checking the results.
“He even went to bed in bed with a game on his computer and another on his tablet. This would be in the morning and just before going to sleep.
“It was a little annoying, but it was his routine and I accepted it.”
