Jo Yeo Jeong and Go Joon are reviewing their offerings to star in a new drama called “If You Cheat, You Die” (literal translation).

On April 28, a source from the drama industry stated, “Go Joon and Jo Yeo Jeong will be starring in the drama together as male and female leads.”

Jo Yeo Jeong will reportedly play the character Jang Yeo Joo, a best-selling novelist who writes the kind of mystery novels where characters die every three to four pages. She is known for inflicting severe penalties on cheating male characters, and is therefore nicknamed the “praying mantis,” a species in which females are said to pluck the heads of males. Unlike his exciting novels, Jang Yeo Joo’s real life is ordinary and happy. She is married to a man younger than her, a successful lawyer nicknamed the “husband of the nation.”

Go Joon will reportedly play the character Han Woo Sung, a divorce lawyer. She listens attentively to her clients suffering from the pain of love and divorce, and solves financial problems while easing their emotional wounds. Except for a past incident when he swore in court and was expelled because he was too sympathetic to a client, he would be the perfect attorney.

Agency sources for Jo Yeo Jeong and Go Joon stated that the actors were reviewing their casting offers and that nothing had yet been confirmed.

“If you cheat, you die” is described as the comical story of the fearful experiences of adults doing bad things with a guilty conscience.
