SINGAPORE – The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) seized drugs worth approximately $ 640,000 in a drug bust on Tuesday (September 8), in which two Singaporeans, a 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, they were arrested, authorities said Wednesday.

On Tuesday afternoon, CNB agents arrested the man for alleged drug trafficking activities at a development on Boon Lay Drive.

Agents took the man to his residential unit on the same farm, where the woman was also arrested.

A search of the unit turned up 24 packages and bottles containing 1,203 g of methamphetamine, also known as Ice, 10 g of cannabis, 512 g of ketamine, 669 ecstasy tablets, and 7,502 Erimin-5 tablets.

Packing materials and $ 8,680 in cash were also discovered.

After authorities searched the man’s car, they found three packages containing 1,500 g of heroin.

Investigations into the suspects’ drug-related activities are ongoing.

CNB said the 1,500 g of heroin seized is enough to fuel the addiction of about 715 abusers for a week.

The 1,203 g of ice seized could fuel the addiction of some 690 abusers for a week.
