A woman was arrested after she was seen wandering completely naked through Block 11 Bedok North Street 1 on Tuesday (December 29).
In response to a Stomp inquiry, police said they received a call for assistance at 7.52 a.m.
“A 42-year-old woman was detained under Section 7 of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act,” police added.
Several Stompers learned of the incident after a video of the woman began circulating online.
In the video, the naked woman can be seen crossing the street while holding an orange bag in her right hand.
The passersby around him seem unfazed.
The woman behind the camera, who appears to be a passenger in a car, mutters a phrase in Chinese, which can be translated as “Are you serious?” in English.
The clip below shows the lady wandering at the foot of a block while swinging her arms and legs in the air.
“This is sad. She just needs medical help and sympathy,” said one of the Stompers who shared the video.
