£ 35m Serie A center-back wants to move to Manchester United

A central defensive goal for Manchester United is open for a summer change to Old Trafford, while Jurgen Klopp will turn to LaLiga to fuel the Liverpool front fight, both at Euro Paper Talk on Friday.

DEFENSIVE OBJECTIVE MAN UTD OPEN TO MOVEMENT

United manchester appear to have been boosted in their search for a new center-back this summer, with the Serbian star Nikola Milenkovic interested in a move.

The 23-year-old will be out of contract in the summer of 2022, and the latest reports suggest that a The £ 35m Old Trafford switch is on the cards.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still looking for a new partner for Harry Maguire, with several big names linked to a movement.

However, Milenkovic’s name keeps popping up on what would be more of a bargain.

And according Corriere dello Sport, Viola is struggling to convince the player to sign a new contract as he is tempted by a move to Manchester.

AC Milan have also been mentioned as suitors, but financial struggles at the San Siro appear to have ruined their hopes.

A recent report from The nation (quoted by Fiorentina.it) claimed that a fee of £ 35 million had been set for Milenkovic to go ahead.

The Serbian star helped Fiorentina keep a clean sheet 10 in Serie A last season, and also scored five goals.

This campaign has been a different story, however, with the Viola ranking 14th in Serie A.

Milenkovic has scored twice, while Fiorentina have only had six shutouts in 21 league games.

The need for more defensive recruits to bolster Solskjaer’s bottom line is evidenced by the fact that only Liverpool have a worse defensive record among the current top 10 in the Premier League.

And at 23, Milenkovic appears to offer better value than some of the older options he has linked up with at United.
