A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a case of voluntary damage by dangerous weapon.

The images of the victim, a 26-year-old man, sitting in a pool of blood were recently shared by a netizen with the uncensored Singapore website.

Speaking to AsiaOne, the police confirmed that the incident took place at Block 452, Jurong West Street 42 on Sunday night (May 10).

After the attack, the Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) arrived at the scene to provide medical assistance to the injured man.

The victim was consciously transferred to the National University Hospital.

This is the fourth attack known only on May 10.

Early that morning, a group of 10 youths participated in a fight at the People’s Park condo, and at least two of them were armed with knives. A 19-year-old man was injured, while three people were arrested. Police are searching for the remaining suspects.

Before that, two men were involved in an assault at the Choa Chu Kang Cemetery that left one man with multiple injuries, including a deformed left arm, puncture wounds to both legs, and head injuries.

A 38-year-old man who went jogging at night at Punggol Field died after an assailant stabbed him multiple times.
