SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 as of noon on Saturday (September 26), with a community infection involving a work pass holder.
There are five new imported cases. All of them had been put on stay-at-home notice when they arrived in Singapore, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in its preliminary daily update.
This brings the national account to 57,685.
More updates will be given Saturday night, the ministry said.

Most of the total COVID-19 cases in Singapore are foreign workers living in dormitories.
The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) said on Friday that migrant workers living in dormitories will now undergo a more specific quarantine approach to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, in a bid to minimize work disruption and to that the measures are more sustainable.
Workers can now be quarantined by tiers or sections rather than entire blocks, MOM said Friday.
The ministry also said workers who have recovered and are within 150 days of their infection would not be quarantined.

The daily count of COVID-19 infections in Singapore has ranged from 11 to 31 cases this week.
On Wednesday, authorities said that further COVID-19 restrictions will be eased starting in October.
As of October 1, large cinemas with more than 300 seats will be able to have up to three zones with a maximum of 50 people each.
Other movie theaters will be allowed to increase to 50 percent of their original operating capacity, or maintain the current limit of up to 50 customers per theater, subject to COVID-19 safe management measures.
Restrictions on worship services and wedding receptions will also be eased starting October 3. Up to 100 attendees will be allowed in wedding and worship services, compared to the current limit of 50.
Authorities are also considering a trial to increase attendance limits for congregational services to 250 people, with five zones of 50 people each.
