SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 12 new cases of COVID-19 as of noon on Friday (November 13), the Ministry of Health (MINSA) said.

All new cases were imported and placed on a stay-at-home notice upon arrival in Singapore.

Eleven were asymptomatic while one was symptomatic, the Health Ministry said. The imported cases had traveled from 10 different countries.

Among them are a 19-year-old Singaporean who returned from France and two permanent residents who returned from the United States and India.

Another five are currently employed in Singapore. Of these, three are work pass holders who arrived from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the United Kingdom. Two other cares are work permit holders who came from Indonesia and Myanmar.

The 49-year-old work pass holder who traveled from the United Arab Emirates is linked to the pass holder of a 46-year-old dependent who also traveled from the same country.
