10 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore, including 7 imported infections

SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 10 new COVID-19 cases as of noon on Sunday (October 11), including seven imported infections.

The new cases bring the national total to 57,876.

The seven imported cases had been placed on a stay-at-home notice upon arrival in Singapore, the Health Ministry added.

In addition, there were three cases that resided in bedrooms.

There were no cases in the community, the Health Ministry said.

More information on the cases will be provided Sunday evening, the ministry said.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said on Sunday that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought “stress, pressure and upheaval” to more people, and its impact on mental health must be managed.

Singapore has established the National Care Hotline and the COVID-19 Mental Wellbeing Task Force to help those facing mental health issues, Lee said in a video message to the World Health Organization for World Health Day. Mental health.

Baby Support Grant will provide additional support to help couples “meet the costs of parenting during these extraordinary times,” said NPTD.
