Sharon Stone was struck three times by lightning and death threatened

Sharon Stone must feel like the happiest woman in the world after revealing she threatened her with a sudden death three times.

The Hollywood actress, famous for her role in Basic Instinct, was struck by lightning, was nearly suffocated by a washing line in a freak accident at the age of 14, and suffered a stroke in 2001.

The 62-year-old says she has many ‘crazy’ things going on in her life.

She told The Sun: “I had my neck cut to a sixteenth of an inch from my jugular vein when I was 14 on a clothing line. I was struck by lightning and wow, that was really intense.”

Sharon explained that she filled the iron with water and had her hand on the tap when the source outside was hit by lightning and the charge came through the water.

She was thrown all over the kitchen and against the refrigerator, but she says her mother ‘strapped’ her around her face and she was fine.

Sharon added: “It’s, ‘How am I going to die next time?’ Probably something super dramatic and necessary. “

The actress said she is “extremely lucky” to be alive after she was given a 1% chance of surviving in 2001 when she suffered a massive stroke and a hemorrhage.

She is open about her experiences

“I felt like I had been hit in the head,” she said. “I remember lying there thinking, ‘I have a stroke.'”

Sharon was taken to the hospital where she sat in and out of a coma for a week.

She had to have a seven-hour operation, with surgeons inserting 22 platinum coils into her brain to stabilize the artery and stop the bleeding.

While surgeons saved her life, Sharon still had to undergo years of gruesome therapy to make a complete recovery.

She said, “My speech, my hearing, running … everything. My whole life was wiped out. I thought I died long, even after I got home.”

In her seven years of recovery, Sharon’s career was left in balance, she went through a divorce and a battle for child care.

She said she had to hypothesize her house again and lost everything she had.

She is now making a comeback in a new Netflix show Ratch, a prequel to the movie One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
