Press Release from Humboldt County COVID19 – Joint Information Center:
The total number of Humboldt County residents who tested positive for COVID-19 now stands at 293, after seven new cases were reported today.
Humboldt County Health Officer Dr. Teresa Frankovich reminds the community that a stock emergency kit is essential to be present for all types of events, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Many of the supplies that are recommended to keep up with for unexpected emergencies such as earthquakes and power outages can be just as useful in a pandemic,” said Drs. Frankovich. “Keeping a store with non-perishable foods and medications for extra prescription can come in handy if someone in your home becomes ill from COVID-19 and everyone needs to stay quarantined.”
