As her defense attorney Dalibor Katancevic pointed out for Danas, she admitted at the hearing at the Special Prosecutor’s Office for High Technology Crimes that she sent messages to Minister Kisic Tepavcevic, but also denied that his intention was to harass or persecute her. In that way, Katancevic noted, Simonovic only expressed his revolt because the most prominent member of the Crisis Staff for the suppression of covids is acting directly against the message sent to the public. According to Katancevic, he only criticized the actions of Minister Kisic Tepavcevic.

Simonović was arrested at Nikola Tesla Airport when he was coming with his family from Norway, where he lives and works. He was arrested on suspicion of having committed the crime of persecution by sending text messages to the Minister of Labor. They threaten you with a fine or imprisonment of up to three years for the specific action you are charged with.

According to the media, after learning that the Minister of Labor, together with the Minister of the Interior, Aleksandar Vulin, allegedly attended a celebration in a Belgrade restaurant, Kisić Tepavčević sent several SMS messages stating that he was “lying to the people “and that she” would inform the media. ” He also allegedly asked him: “Is it a good wine for 16,000 euros?” Simović received the phone number of Darija Kisić Tepavčević from his wife, who was his assistant at the Faculty of Medicine.

Darija Kisić declined to comment on this case yesterday.
