Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić declared on the occasion of the formation of the new government that by the end of this week, or at the latest on Monday, the prime minister is expected to reveal what the new government should look like.

As for the coalition partners, Vučić told RTS that it was a matter for the Prime Minister and that the decision on it would be made by the organs of the political parties participating in it.

The legal deadline to form a new Serbian government expires in two weeks.

Speaking of the epidemiological situation in the country, he says that it is not dramatic because there are not a large number of deaths and hospitalizations, but that it is time that we start behaving in the most responsible way possible.

“It is good that we are working in hospitals, which will be ready by December,” says the president.

He claims that work is being done to get the vaccine from all sides.

“Negotiations are ongoing with the Chinese, the Russians, the West on all vaccines,” the president said.

Asked if the schools will be closed in case of a worsening of the epidemiological situation, he said that he is not part of the medical team and that these people know better, but that he does not see much sense in closing the schools.
