Kragujevac – Huawei company and the Office of IT and E-Government signed an agreement on equipment interference, whereby that company becomes another user of the State Data Center.

“We are very happy to be a part of this project and will have the opportunity to attend the opening ceremony. The latest high-performance computing systems together with Huawei’s software intelligence platform will be hosted at the State Data Center in Kragujevac. “, said.
The director of the Office of IT and E-Government highlighted the importance of signing a contract with Huawei.
“Signing another commercial contract for equipment and data interference in the State Data Center with Huawei is of great importance for our country. The contract is proof of how much a large global IT company like Huawei believes in Serbia, that we are trustworthy, secure. , have a quality data center and quality people who can manage it, “he said.
He assessed that this was only a “first step” and expressed his confidence that during the next year, Huawei will expand the amount of equipment and data it stores in Serbia and that it will provide as many services as possible in the countries of the region and throughout Europe. .
Serbia has already cooperated with Huawei in the Kragujevac city data center, which opened in March this year, which stores data from municipal administrations, public companies and institutions and provides connections to national databases.
China donated two million dollars for the construction of that center.
As previously announced, IBM is the first business user of the State Data Center in Kragujevac, and Orion Telecom is the second.
