See the Surface Duo in action (kind of) in the YouTube series “The Shiproom”

Another sign of his impending introduction has been Posted on YouTube by MSPoweruser. Surface Duo appeared in a teaser video for The shipyard; Hosted by Brad Anderson, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Business Management Experiences team, the show follows Anderson as he talks to the world’s most successful companies “to learn how they navigate the modern workplace, use technology to compete, and they have been digitally transformed. “
During the trailer, Anderson is using Surface Duo to change the virtual background using the phone and a green screen. He even changes the clothes executive producer Ben Hawken wears. While Anderson was not promoting the Duo per se and was simply discussing an app that allows him to control what is seen in the background, all eyes must be on the device.

According to the latest rumors, the Surface Duo is equipped with a pair of 5.6-inch AMOLED screens with a resolution of 1350 x 1800. When the screens are opened at a 180 degree angle, they create a screen the size of a tablet of 8.3 inches with a center hinge. Despite the hinge, Google has worked with Microsoft to make its apps flow from one screen to another by allowing special features to be offered to some of Google’s Android apps.

We expect the Surface Duo to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. The chipset will be paired with 6GB of memory along with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of storage. The Duo will reportedly feature a single 11MP camera and a 3460mAh capacity battery. Android 10 will be pre-installed with an Android 11 update that will arrive just a few weeks after launch. There is no 5G in this type, but the hinge is said to be “revolutionary” (by Microsoft). We were able to see AT&T have the first opportunity to sell the phone.
