NASA’s Perseverance Rover is doing its part to help build the first powered, controlled flight to another planet. The rover’s companion, the ingenious helicopter, will soon land on Mars.

After leaving the defensive ield, NASA shared a first look at a small helicopter under the rover’s belly.

“The debris ield goes away, and here’s our first look at the helicopter. It’s owed to the side, closed and locked in place, so I have to do some contrast origami before I can set it up.” NASA tweeted on Sunday.

Soon, NASA is heading to what it calls a “helipad” designated place to establish ingenuity on the ground. The lower abdomen looks from the camera mounted on the end of the rover’s robotic arm.

NASA will share more details about the procedures and plans for the deployment of ingenuity During a briefing on Tuesday. The car is considered to be High-risk, high-reward technical demonstration. It would be wonderful if it worked, but not surprising if it didn’t work.

The space agency also shared one The video of the test on Earth shows how the helicopter will be set up. It is a multi-step operation in which the ingenuity needs to be transferred, the landing foot unlocked and left on the surface.

The rover is currently discharging some of its parts. The wreckage of ingenuity comes after the shield Left behind left behind belly pan Earlier this month. Those pieces have done their duty and are no longer needed.

The Perseverance Rover landed in February, but it has already sent a plethora of stunning visuals and Audio from the Red Planet. The deployment of ingenuity will mark the beginning of a whole new aerial venture on Mars.
