Earlier on Thursday, an attempt by the first lady called “Operation Block Ivanka” at the inauguration of Trump was detailed by Melania’s ex-best friend, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff.
Wolkoff drew on secretly taped tapes and years of friendship with Melania to write a book about her tumultuous relationship, “Melania and Me: My Years as a Trust, Counselor and Friend for the First Lady.”
