Season 10 of ‘The Walking Dead’ extended by six episodes

Now there is a date for the end of the world, at least as The Walking DeadBeta sees it. On the Comic-Con @ Home panel of the AMC drama on Friday, Talking dead Announcer Chris Hardwick announced that the end of Season 10, “A Certain Doom,” was delayed when these difficult quarantines initially prevented post-production completion, airing on Sunday, October 4 at 9 / 8c. What’s more, it will be followed immediately that night by the postponed premiere of the series’ second spin-off, The Walking Dead: World Beyond and a new episode of Speaking dead.

But those announcements, which came with an extended version of the opening minutes of the episode, now with more Beta, and therefore more cray-cray, were just the tip of the iceberg. Showrunner Angela Kang also revealed that Season 10 was spanning six episodes, to air in early 2021 “if all goes well.”

What does that mean for season 11? Unfortunately, and obviously, what it means is that season 11 won’t be able to premiere in October, as The Walking Dead The seasons always do.

Viewers will remember that in the penultimate episode of Season 10, well, when I was the penultimate: Alpha’s right hand led his horde of guardians to the door of our hero’s hideout. But help, we found out in a preview for the ending, which is no longer an ending, was on the way, in the form of Kevin Carroll’s Virgil, who had apparently decided not to stay on his private island tending graves of his family and the Lauren Cohan’s return as Maggie.

Towards the end of the panel, the Dead-Verse director of content Scott M. Gimple was asked if he could create a pre-apocalyptic spin-off for any character, who would it be? In replying to Glenn, since he missed Steven Yeun, he admitted that, in fact, “we are seeing things where can take a look at past characters, “not necessarily before the apocalypse, but at least early in the apocalypse. Kang also confirmed what we already knew, thanks to the Robert Kirkman comics: that the Commonwealth is coming.
