That is the motto Sarah Hyland en Wells Adams appeared to follow on Saturday, August 8th. De Modern family actress revealed that she had walked down the aisle in a bridal gown, ready to exchange vows and “I do” to The Bachelorette alun.
However, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the couple had to put their wedding plans on hold. Despite their backwardness, the couple maintained a positive attitude and took to social media to celebrate what their big day would have been like.
“A couple, a pandemic, and a postponed wedding: A series. We should get married today. Instead … we took photos and drank wine,” Sarah wrote in her Instagram post. “I love you going to Pluto & back.”
Wells said the same thing on his page, writing, “We could have been married today. We did not. But I still had to get an asshole. So, you know, still pretty cool.”

The duo shared upright shots of their celebration, which turned out to have been done at a winery.
In the photos, the actress looked like a bride in her all-white outfit. She wore an off-the-shoulder waxed top, high-waisted pants and even accessories with a beige hat wearing a white veil that read, “Being a Bride.”
As for Wells? He also agreed with the Modern family star with a crisp white button-down shirt and khaki pants.
In late June, Sarah gave fans an update on her marriage during an interview with Chris Harrison.
“We have no plans at the moment. We have put all plans on hold,” she told the host. The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons – Ever!. “All my family is mostly on the East Coast, so for them to fly out … and just age and of course with my health risks, we want to be as safe as possible.”
In May, the actress joked that she would just tie the knot at City Hall.

That same month, Wells opened up about marrying his leading lady and how they had no solid marriage plans at the time.

Add, “If it’s really, really long, I think we should do something like a really small thing in the backyard.”
Last summer, the couple announced their engagement on Instagram. “That can not eat, can not sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of game @wellsadams,” Sarah shared July 2019. He wrote, “I will be Johnny, you will be June. But forever.”
The duo started dating in 2017 and have been inseparable ever since. It’s only a matter of time before they take their romance to the next chapter.
